Cancellation policy

Cancellations until 20 days before the tour start date, can be used as credit in a period of 6 months after the scheduled date of the previous activity.

Children from 0 to 6 years are free of charge.
Children from 7 to 12 years of age, pay 50% of the full rate.

Garimpo Real


Duration: 3 hour(s) - Location: Diamantina
Visit the Garimpo Real, the only diamond mine known in Brazil for tourist visitation. During the tour, guests will experience the entire old diamond mining process, learn a little about the origin of the diamond mining, and become educated about the daily life of the prospectors. Visitors will see the whole process of how to search for a diamond, from how to choose the best place to start to washing the gravel before the final sieve.

At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to find a true diamond and we wish you the best of luck!
