Sited among beautiful landscapes and surrounded by nature, Hotel Estância do Salitre is located just outside of the central part of Diamantina. It is around 11 kilometres from the urban heart, and approximately a 20 minute drive away. Although it isn’t situated in the city centre, access to the hotel is fairly simple. From the city centre, travellers must look for signs to Gruta do Salitre. A taxi ride would be moderately expensive. If driving, some attention will have to be paid to the signs, and it is possible to stop and ask residents and pedestrians for directions.
