From the Old Market, the best way to get to Pousada Arraial do Tijuco is by following the Rosario all the way (about 500 metres) to Rosario´s Church. Guests will then have to take a left, passing by the Correios (local post service) at Farinha Seca street, and left again down the street where the Armazém do Rosário Bar and the "AJIR" Social Institution can be spotted. The Arraial do Tijuco Pousada is further down on the left side of the street.

Saindo do Mercado Velho o melhor caminho a seguir é tomar a rua do Rosário até chegar a Igreja do Rosário (cerca de 500 metros). Em seguida pegue a rua Farinha Seca a esquerda pasando pela agencia dos Correios e novamente a esquerda descendo até o Bar Armazén do Rosário aonde cerca de 50 metros abaixo esta localizada a Pousada Arraial do Tijuco.
