The Guesthouse is located right at the heritage centre, just a few steps from the Matriz Metropolitana de Santo Antônio, the main church of the city, and the Old Market (Mercado Municipal).

Located on Campos Carvalho Street, the Pousada Capistrana is close to the cultural and entertainment centre of Diamantina. It is approximately a two minute walk from the Old Market and church Matriz and very close to the majority of Diamantina's attractions. Some good restaurants are located near by and services like a drugstore, post office, police department and tourist information office are in the region of the guesthouse.
To get to the guesthouse from anywhere in town, travellers should ideally ask for the city centre, the Restaurant Curupiara or the Old Market (Mercado Velho). The Municipal Bus Station is less than a kilometre away. The Pousada Capistrana is located on a pedestrian street where cars are not allowed. Guests who want to catch a taxi will have to walk to the Matriz de Santo Antônio Church in front of which there is a taxi station. That is also the best place to stop when arriving by car or taxi.

Situada na Rua Campos de Carvalho, n° 35, a Pousada Capistrana está próxima ao centro comercial e de lazer. Estamos a aproximadamente 2 minutos de caminhada do Mercado Velho e da Igreja Matriz, e também bem próximo da maioria dos atrativos de Diamantina. Alguns bons restaurantes estão localizados nas redondezas, e outros séricos como farmácias, correios, departamento de polícia e centro de informações turísticas estão na região da Pousada.
Para chegar aqui de qualquer lugar da cidade, o melhor é perguntar pelo centro da cidade, pelo Restaurante Curupiara ou pelo Mercado Velho. Estamos também a menos de um quilometro da rodoviária.
Fique atento, pois a Pousada Capistrana está localizada em uma rua de pedestre, em que os carros não são permitidos. Sendo assim, caso deseje pegar um táxi, caminhe até o Mercado Velho e espere por lá. Do mesmo modo, ali é o melhor lugar para se parar quando voltando de táxi.
