The Pousada Real property is a private preservation unit of 180 hectares. The owners want to surpass the preservation and reach also economic sustainability with sempre-vivas (a local endemic plant) cultivation and production of handicrafts by the local community. You can also help to preserve the streams and rivers, which are protected with help of the State Forest Institute.
