The photographer Bernardo Magalhães realised the city needed a different accommodation option, focusing on providing the guests with a better personal service.

He hired and trained his staff and installed a sauna inside the bathrooms and wirless internet access. He invested in bed linen and sound isolation in the rooms, and built the new house, remodeling the old structure. His intention is to mix traditional and modern styles and to give a quality, personalised service to his costumers.

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:

Before starting his business, the owner, Bernardo Magalhães, decided to buy the ancient house. He was authorized by the IPHAN (National Historic and Artistic Institute) and decided to remodel the building, maintaining the original style but improving all the house's structure and decoration painting. Therefore, the tradition of the city and the building is kept.
