About Us

Born in Guanhães, a small town of about 30 thousand inhabitants, Adriano started his passion for tourism after his work experience for a tourism agency there. When he moved to Serro he planned to start his own business. After learning more about the tourism market, he opened ARM Turismo, an agency focused on researching the potential for developing local tourism.

Adriano really loves his job and is always into new strategies for the development of the region. He is also always alert about the issues of the environment and the social development. Adriano believes that there is still a lot to do in the local tourist trade, and for him, the project's main focus is the benefit of the inhabitants with the promotion of tourism in the region.

Always looking to involve the residents of the towns where his agency operates, the company's concern is echoed by its team, where all employees are residents of the region and even in small details like the decor, all made with typical materials and by local artisans.

ARM Turismo also promotes various events in town, focused primarily on the residents. Adriano believes that tourism is only a consequence of these projects for the community, which looks to recover and preserve the local culture.

The company is concerned about sustainability and it is keen to lead by example, using recycled paper for all its documentation and mobile certified timber. He has a very active participation in associations such as Diamonds Circuit and the Municipal Tourism Council, to ensure a greater knowledge of the political context of tourism in the region and give his contribution.

Adriano's Tourism Agency is located in Serro, but since he is influent all over the region and wants to expand his business, he is opening a new office in Diamantina. Now, he can serve personally all visitors and travelers with his unique and quality service.

Consequently, ARM Turismo joined INTEX for this project to improve local tourism, creating a Global travel Portal to provide worldwide access to local accommodations. He expects to contribute to the development of the culture, heritage and natural beauty. Adriano also wants to help projects that are already in progress, such as solidarity tourism that is beginning to increase in the region.
