Dia da Tropa is a true opportunity to revive an old tradition of the mining era. São João da Chapada's journey, conducted by three traditional troopers, will revive some of the important cultural and economic moments of Diamantina's region. Through stunning landscapes, the troop will take some pack donkeys along the way, plus lots of joy, folklore, typical food, handicrafts and music.

Leaving on Tuesday, the troop stops at the picturesque little towns of Formiga and Biribiri and also at beautiful natural scenery spots like waterfalls and mountain summits. The grand finale happens at Mercado Velho in Diamantina, where explorers will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the final celebration.
