The Pousada Serrana is a house that has been converted into a hotel. It is simple, well organised and guests will feel very much at home.

Guests who fancy any of the homemade handcrafts that are part of the décor, which is a juxtaposition of colonial and modern styles, may purchase them if they wish.

Pousada Serrana's host is dedicated to providing good and personalised service and enjoys giving tips to guests on how to get the most out of their time there.

The Chica da Silva Cake, a homemade banana cake, the pão de queijo (cheese bread roll) and breakfast delicacies come highly recommended.

There is cable internet available at the reception,  usage of which is charged by the hour. There is a fridge in the reception that can be used by all guests; food may be labelled with the guest's name.

The front yard is small but cosy and the back yard can also be accessed by the guests. Parking space is included in the price and is contingent upon availability.

Policies and Other Information

Cancellation Policy:
- Booking is confirmed by a deposit of 50% of the total booking value.
- For cancellations received at the accommodation 15 days or more before arrival date, there will be 100% refund.
- For cancellations received less than 15 days before booking, deposit will be retained.
- In case off no show, there will be no refund.

Late check-out policy:

- Late check-out after 1:00 pm : a tax will be charged according to the hours of usage.
- Tax is caculated based on the daily rate value.


Children policy:

- Children from zero to four years of age, sharing same bedding in parent's room stay free of charge.
- Children from five to nine years of age, sharing same bedding in parent's room pay 50% of the daily rate.
- Children ten years of age and older are charged the adult rate.
