 Pouso da Chica mixes a decorative, antique style with modern structure and uses an illumination system which creates a pleasant ambience. The antique house has a reception area, living room and four rooms.


The kitchen area divides the old house and the bungalow area. Prettily decorated with antique furniture and an antique stove used during colonial times, it is a fantastic place to have breakfast.

To reach the lodges, the guests need to walk to the outdoor upper-level of the house, which is more quiet and private. The bungalow area consists of seven different lodges and a beautiful garden with various fruit trees. All the rooms are new, clean, painted in cheerful colours, and airy. The guesthouse has a team of hospitality staff who offer good, personalised service.

Pouso da Chica serves breakfast and afternoon stew included in the price. There is a small room with a chess board and internet access. The guesthouse organises tours and activities on request. If also offers a laundry service, room service and a parking area is available to the guests. The rooms have a sound isolation system.

Cancellation Policy:
- For cancellations received less than seven days before booking, deposit will be retained.
- On holidays, events period and vacations cancellations should be done 15 days before the check-in date.
- In case of no show, the deposit fee is not refundable but can be negotiated as credit on a different booking date.

Late check-out policy:

- Late check-out after 3 pm is subject to Accommodation availability and can be negotiated with the hosts.
- If you wish to stay longer or leave your luggage at the accommodation, please negotiate this with the hosts directly.


Children policy:

- Children under six years of age in parent's room stay free of charge.
- Children seven years of age and older are charged the adult rate.
